CIF U30 Global Innovation Alliance Conference Concludes Successfully in Los Angeles

On August 29, 2025, the California Investment Forum hosted the
at The California Endowment in Downtown Los Angeles.
With the theme “Youth Innovation, International Cooperation, and Future Industries,” the conference showcased 13 groundbreaking projects from Caltech, USC, and UCSD, attracting policymakers, scholars, entrepreneurs, and global delegations.
Chairman Daniel Sieu opened with the vision of “Forever 30” — innovation driven by passion, curiosity, and boldness.
Messages of support came from Congresswoman Judy Chu, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, and Treasurer Fiona Ma, who praised CIF’s collaboration with Caltech.
The Consul General of Thailand and the Indonesian Consulate joined, underscoring CIF’s role in global cooperation.
Jason A. Gahari, CIF Executive Committee Member and former Vice President of GE Capital, moderated the innovation sessions, providing investment insights and strategic guidance as a core leader of the CIF Incubator.
Highlights included Caltech’s Halsted AI and ExoBubble, USC & UCSD’s smart city solutions, and CIF Incubator projects: Solari, Sunwise, and the CIFIN App.
The Life Design Education Program, led by Kristen Bowers and Daniel Paraszkay, also introduced new approaches to personal growth and leadership, earning strong acclaim.
The conference launched the CIF U30 Global Innovation Elite Club, a new “United Nations of Innovation.”
Hollywood joined with Rebecca Holden’s Dreams Come True and insights from producer Peter Kjennas on storytelling and creativity.
In closing, CIF leaders reaffirmed: “CIF U30 is the launchpad for youth innovation and global collaboration in the decade ahead.”
