Torrance, California – June 13, 2026 — The California Investment Forum (CIF) was honored to participate in the “Made in Pakistan Soccer Tournament & Festival,” a FIFA World Cup 2026 launch event organized by Safeer E Pakistan in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Los Angeles. Held at Hit Factory in Torrance, the event brought together diplomats, business leaders, community organizations, and soccer enthusiasts from across Southern California.

The festival was organized under the leadership of Mr. Waqar Ali Khan, Founder and President of Safeer E Pakistan, whose ongoing efforts have played an important role in promoting Pakistani culture, business, and community engagement throughout California. The event highlighted Pakistan’s globally recognized soccer manufacturing industry and celebrated the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be hosted across North America, including matches in California.

Among the distinguished guests in attendance was H.E. Asim Ali Khan, Consul General of Pakistan in Los Angeles, along with representatives from the Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce, local business organizations, community leaders, and corporate sponsors. The gathering provided an excellent platform for cultural exchange, networking, and discussions on future economic and business cooperation.

Representatives of the California Investment Forum met with diplomatic and business leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration in international trade, investment, sports-related industries, technology, and community development. Discussions also focused on the economic opportunities surrounding major international events such as the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028, both expected to generate significant business, tourism, and investment activity throughout California.

“California’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths,” said CIF representatives. “Events such as this demonstrate how sports, culture, and business can bring communities together while creating opportunities for international cooperation and economic growth.”

The festival featured soccer competitions, networking activities, cultural presentations, and exhibits showcasing Pakistan’s renowned soccer manufacturing sector. Pakistan is recognized worldwide as one of the leading producers of high-quality soccer balls used in international competitions, making the event a fitting celebration ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

CIF extends its appreciation to Mr. Waqar Ali Khan, Consul General H.E. Asim Ali Khan, the Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce, community organizations, sponsors, and volunteers whose efforts contributed to the success of this event.

As CIF continues to strengthen relationships with diplomatic missions, international business communities, and global partners, the organization looks forward to expanding cooperation between California and Pakistan in areas including trade, innovation, investment, sports diplomacy, education, and cultural exchange.
