CIF Photo & Media Consent Policy

By purchasing a ticket, registering, or attending the California Investment Forum (CIF), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Consent to Photography & Recording

   • CIF events may be photographed, videotaped, and/or otherwise recorded by CIF staff, contractors, or media representatives.

   • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded as a participant, whether intentionally or incidentally.

2. Use of Media

   • CIF reserves the right to use, publish, and distribute such photographs, videos, or recordings for promotional, marketing, educational, archival, or news purposes.

   • This includes, but is not limited to, publication on social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook), websites, press releases, newsletters, and other digital or print outlets.

3. No Compensation

   • You understand that no financial compensation or royalties will be provided for the use of your likeness in these materials.

4. Scope of Consent

   • This consent is perpetual, worldwide, and covers all forms of media, whether now known or later developed.

   • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to notify CIF staff in writing prior to the event and make reasonable efforts to avoid cameras or recording areas.

5. Release of Liability

   • By attending, you release CIF, its affiliates, sponsors, and partners from any liability related to the use of your image, voice, or likeness in the aforementioned materials.
