Dustin McDonald

Dustin joined GO-Biz in 2023 with 20 years of experience in government and public relations, and he is no stranger to the policy and market issues that challenge businesses and local governments. Dustin has dedicated his career to supporting a healthy economic future for California, and maintains expertise in economic development, cannabis policy, municipal finance, public revenue and tax, and zoning and land-use. Dustin has operated his own consulting firm, built & run an international & domestic government relations team for Weedmaps, served as the Policy Director for the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA), and the federal lobbyist for a number of California public and private entities, including the League of California Cities.
