Arnab Pal

Arnab Pal presently holds the position of principal advisor and consultant to Director Shah at the Loan Program Office within the US Department of Energy. Prior to this role, he held a senior position in the United States Senate, contributing significantly to the negotiation of pivotal energy and climate-related provisions that culminated in the enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act. Apart from his federal responsibilities, Arnab has spearheaded decarbonization initiatives exceeding $1 billion for the State of California in collaboration with the Center for Sustainable Energy. Furthermore, he has fulfilled the role of principal resource planner at San Diego Gas and Electric, showcasing a diverse and impactful career trajectory in the energy sector.
