Ahmed Mirza

Ahmed Mirza is an early-stage investor at Techstars, where he manages the Los Angeles, Healthcare, and Space programs. At Techstars, Ahmed invests in about 48 companies annually across various sectors including B2B SaaS, Retail/E-Commerce, Health & Wellness, Deep-Tech, Prop-Tech, and Climate/Sustainability​.

Before joining Techstars, Ahmed worked at Wavemaker Labs, Share Ventures, and Pilot44, where he helped bring various concepts to market in partnership with corporate venture groups at Fortune 100 companies. His career also includes experience as an entrepreneur, having launched multiple ventures from retail businesses to digital software products. Additionally, Ahmed has a background in investment banking, focusing on technology mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships​.
